Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Evening Class Connect, operated by MIT Education Solutions ("we", "us").

The service

Evening Class Connect is a booking, administration and payments platform for colleges and community education providers. Colleges publish their own courses, set their own fees and manage their own learners. We provide the software that makes this possible.

Bookings are made with the college, not with us

When you book a course, your contract for that course is with the college delivering it. The college is responsible for the content, scheduling, delivery and quality of its courses, and for its own refunds and cancellations. We are responsible for the operation of the platform itself.

Fees and payment

Course fees are set by the college and displayed inclusive of any applicable tax before you confirm a booking. Payment is taken at the time of booking, or in instalments where the college offers them. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, submit false booking information, or use the service in a way that breaks the law or interferes with other users.

Accounts

Where you are given administrator access to a college site, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account. Multi-factor authentication is required for administrative accounts.

Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance and will try to give notice of planned downtime.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability relating to the platform is limited to the fees paid to us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
