Privacy Policy

Evening Class Connect ("the Platform") is operated by MIT Education Solutions. This policy explains how we handle personal data on the platform website and on the college booking sites we host.

Who is responsible for your data

Each college or education provider using the Platform is the data controller for the learners who book its courses. MIT Education Solutions acts as a data processor on their behalf. For data you give us directly on this website (for example a free trial request), MIT Education Solutions is the controller.

What we collect

• Contact details you submit through enquiry, trial or booking forms: name, email address, phone number and organisation.
• Booking information: the course booked, fees, payment status and any accessibility or emergency-contact details you provide.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the service secure and reliable.

Why we use it

To provide and administer course bookings, to take payment, to contact you about your booking, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and — only where you have opted in — to send marketing about future courses.

Payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe processes payment data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

Sharing

We share data with the college whose course you booked, with our hosting and email providers, and with payment processors. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Booking records are retained for as long as the relevant college's retention policy requires, and in any case no longer than needed for accounting and legal purposes. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, object to processing, or request data portability. Contact privacy@mit.ie. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
